10:12 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Haven't yet written down the release process.
10:22 Alan R Williams: Shouldn't the features be discussed with the main using projects, especially those that are funding myE?
10:23 Sean Bechhofer: ...need to put Kristina's name against that.
10:33 Don Cruickshank: yes alan!
11:43 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Stian is the gatekeeper, and @kristina does some user testing for release.
12:05 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: What's the granularity of release in the past?
12:24 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Anything between several times a week or a month.
12:52 Alan R Williams: BioVeL have requirements for improvements to the skinning of search results and also for the sharing policies
12:58 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina: Also mentioned last time 6 week release cycle.
14:37 Sean Bechhofer: Finn: 6 weeks is too long. 3 weeks.

19:13 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina: who's in charge?
20:25 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Sean chairing these meetings, Don runnings things on the ground.
20:48 Alan R Williams: Which parts for wf4ever ?
20:49 Sean Bechhofer: Don: trying to work on wf4ever parts.
21:24 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Getting the demo more ready for people to look at it. Less of a demo and more real.
22:15 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina: Demo for BeyondTheDF will be review demo?
22:34 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Assumong Marco not depending on what Don is doing.
23:03 Sean Bechhofer: ACTION: Don. List current features for demo update on the backlog.
23:18 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Intention to take what is in the wf4ever demo and incoroporate?
23:29 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Yes, long term, but not in the next two weeks.
23:37 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: What about user review of the wf4ever demo?
23:53 Sean Bechhofer: Don: No, hasn't been shown to users. Only given as (review) demo.
24:16 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina; USers?
24:31 Sean Bechhofer: AlaN: SCAPE< BioVEL, ocean sampling people. anybody....
24:46 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina: Worried that there are rough edges and features missing.
24:55 Sean Bechhofer: ...once demo is really owrking and no mockups.
25:10 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Too much stuff in the demo that is either fixed.hard-coded or doesn't work.
25:21 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: But then you don;t know if those featuers are useful?

27:03 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Could subtitle.
27:55 Sean Bechhofer: Kristina: Process of user review is to make a start with Kristina, but if there are other users when things are established, that would be an option.
28:19 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Surprised that nothing has been done to ask SCAPE what SCAPE"s requirements for wf4ever are.
29:22 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Don't believe that features should be incorporated without proper user review.
29:38 Sean Bechhofer: ...wf4ever is not sufficient.
30:54 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: There should be user review from users other than wf4ver before features are incorporated.
33:58 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Would users commit to involvement in 3 week cycles?
37:47 Sean Bechhofer: Problem: If we involve other users in the release cycle feature testing, what is the benefit for those users?
38:46 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: If there's a list of things that are going to happen, advertise a demo that will happen on a particular place/time.
38:55 Sean Bechhofer: ...if it's more than @kristina, then so be it.
39:30 Sean Bechhofer: Day N: features on sandbox.

41:44 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Contacted those who requested the feature to check it over.
42:16 Sean Bechhofer: formal process. Rarely announced new features.
42:28 Sean Bechhofer: ...need to do better on process.
42:53 Sean Bechhofer: Finn: Every 3 weeks?
44:10 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Need to make clear what the new features are to avoid disappointment from users.
44:22 Sean Bechhofer: Don: Need to have something more regular.
44:46 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Who has responsibility for the demo?

48:12 Don Cruickshank:
48:44 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Are news feeds coming out of myExperiment?
49:39 Sean Bechhofer: ... A page for a groups has news for a group. Just news about manipulktion of group shared artefacts. Not about news for the group. Admins should be able to bung in feeds.
49:57 Sean Bechhofer: Don: doesn't include that. Should do.
50:06 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: Two separate things.
50:11 Sean Bechhofer: in and news out.
50:20 Sean Bechhofer: Alan: Curation Tagging?

01:43 Kristina Hettne: I lost you again.
02:26 Kristina Hettne: But I guess we were almost done?
02:46 Sean Bechhofer: @kristina: ok. We're just trying to pin down something for the next cycle.

10:22 Sean Bechhofer: ..push it back another week?

12:35 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: What's the mechanism for announcing this to potential users?
12:50 Sean Bechhofer: Don: announcement or discuss mailing list?
13:10 Sean Bechhofer: Sean: announcement.
13:51 Sean Bechhofer: AOB?
