AstroTaverna

A considerable effort has been made in developing AstroTaverna plugins that allow the creation of Virtual Observatory services-based workflows. AstroTaverna has been advertised in Issue 009 of IVOA Newsletter [1] and through the IVOA general mailing list, together with a video tutorial [2][3] published in public video-sharing websites. Information on the AstroTaverna plugin may be found in AMIGA Group [4] and Taverna Plugins [5] websites, as well as in the specific AstroTaverna Website [6]. The source code has been published in Astrophysics Source Code Library [7][8], and can be publicly accessed at the GitHub [9] open source hosting service. Additionally a support mailing list [10]  (astrotavernausers@iaa.es) has been created for the AstroTaverna community. A collection of 26 elemental workflows showcasing the potential of AstroTaverna (workflow snippets) has been developed and published in the myExperiment portal with the name of AstroTaverna Starter Pack [11], in order to provide potential users of AstroTaverna a set of small workflows carefully designed to perform very specific actions.
